The key Ingredients and needs...


Blender or juicer

*If blender, you will need a sieve or cheese bag*

A bowl

2 chunks ginger

1 chunk or tablespoon turmeric (plant or powder)

2 seedless oranges

1 squeezed lemon

1 tablespoon of Cayenne Pepper

1 cup of water



What I like to add to it...


2 clove of garlic

1 teaspoon of black pepper

1/4 mug of pure maple syrup or vegan honey


*Garlic, black pepper and sweet are absolutely optional, but we recommend*


Garlic has some amazing qualities like antimicrobial and antifungal properties, improves blood pressure, lowers cholesterol, can support bones and more.


Black pepper is the absorber. By adding black pepper you are helping your body to absorb all the benefits of the shot. Although this isn't the favoured part, it is one of the most important.





How to make:


  1. Start with making sure everything you use is washed and ready to go.

  2. Begin with adding your chunks of ginger, turmeric, peeled oranges, garlic, cayenne pepper, water and black pepper.

  3. Blend for up to 1 minute, make sure all components are blended well to ensure all juice has been exposed.

  4. Pour blended juice into bowl using sieve/cheese bag. Then use a spoon to push remaining bits to ensure all juice has been collected.

  5. Put the remaining bits to one side and reuse sieve for lemon.

  6. Use a juice extractor or a knife to juice lemon over the sieve and bowl full of juice.

  7. Mix lemon juice and blended juice together.

  8. Optional: Add vegan honey or maple syrup (by adding this, it makes the shot a little easier to take)

*Note: If you have remaining bits from your ginger shots, add more water and re-blend or add to a smoothie*
